Membership in the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) makes you a part of a dynamic network of more than 11,500 medical students, residents, practicing physicians, retired physicians, and physician assistants who represent organized medicine at its best.

As a member, you can expect:

Legislative Advocacy

Access to Information

  • Explore the members-only section of the NCMS' website, which houses extensive information that is vital to physician practices.
  • Have weekly newsletters emailed directly to you to keep you informed of important breaking medical news and legislative and compliance issues.

Special Member Benefits

Currently the Plan serves more than 22,000 people in 860 medical practices across 90 of North Carolina's 100 counties, catering to all specialties and practice sizes.
  • Participate in NCMS-sponsored seminars and educational opportunities for CME credit that serve to strengthen your practice.
